📍 Local Knowledge

Irmas/Leftpoint in Oahu is an exposed reef break with reasonably consistent surf year-round. It works best when an East-southeast swell combines with Northwest offshore winds, offering both right and better left-hand reef breaks. The break performs best around mid tide and can sometimes get crowded, occasionally reaching dangerous levels. The prime surfing season is Spring, especially in March.
