πŸ“ Local Knowledge

In Betweens in Oahu is an exposed reef break with pretty consistent surf, best during Summer, especially in May. It performs optimally when a South-southeast swell combines with North offshore winds, receiving both local windswells and distant groundswells. The reef offers both left and right breaks and good surf at all tide stages. When the surf is up, it can get quite busy, but the spot is generally not crowded and free of localism. Hazards include the reef, which can damage equipment. It’s a nice wave for longboarders, while shortboarders should head right toward the rockpiles.
