📍 Local Knowledge

Haubush in Oahu is an exposed reef break with fairly consistent surf throughout the year. It works best when a South-southeast swell combines with North-northwest offshore winds, producing clean and rideable waves. The spot receives both groundswells and windswells, and offers lefts and rights over a reef. Spring, especially May, tends to bring the most reliable conditions with light or offshore winds. Haubush can get crowded when it's firing, and surfers should watch out for rocks and sharks.
