Empty Lots in Oahu is an exposed reef break with reasonably consistent surf year-round. It performs best when a South-southeast swell combines with North-northwest offshore winds, picking up both groundswells and windswells equally. The break offers both left and right reefs and can sometimes be crowded. Surfers should be cautious of rocks. The prime season for clean, rideable waves is Spring, especially May.
