Ehukai/Gums in Oahu is an exposed beach and reef break offering reasonably consistent surf, with the best conditions during winter, especially in January. It performs best when northwest groundswells coincide with offshore winds from the east-southeast. Waves are mainly lefts both at the beach and the reef, and the break is surfable across all tide stages. While summer tends to be flat, the spot often attracts crowds. Hazards include rips and rocks.
