Campbells in Oahu is an exposed reef break with inconsistent surf and no strong seasonal pattern, though it performs best with a south-southwest swell and offshore winds from the northeast. Both local windswells and distant groundswells can produce waves here, offering a mix of lefts and rights over the reef. It's a well-known spot that can get crowded when it's working. Hazards include rocks and sharks, so caution is advised. While not highly reliable, the best chance for clean, rideable waves is typically during summer, especially in July.
