Abalolo Reef in Oahu is an exposed reef break with fairly consistent surf, best during summer, especially August. It performs best with a south-southwest swell and north-northeast offshore winds, primarily receiving groundswells. The spot offers good surf at all tide stages and is rarely crowded. Surfers should be cautious of urchins, rips/undertow, rocks, man-made hazards (like buoys), pollution, and sharks.
