Tardinghen in Normandy is an exposed beach break with quite reliable surf, though the summer months tend to be mostly flat. It performs best with a west swell and offshore winds from the south-southeast, receiving an equal mix of groundswells and windswells. The spot provides both left and right-handers across the beach and is best surfed around mid-tide. The most consistent clean waves typically occur during the winter, particularly in December.
