πŸ“ Local Knowledge

Sea Island in Georgia is an exposed beach break that only works when conditions align, with no consistent seasonal pattern. It performs best with offshore winds from the northwest and a swell direction from the east, receiving a mix of groundswells and windswells. The beach break offers both left and right-hand waves, and it’s never crowded, even on the rare days it’s working. Surfers should be cautious of rocks. The best conditions occur when an east swell combines with northwest winds, with the most consistent clean waves typically appearing in winter, especially in November.
