πŸ“ Local Knowledge

North Jetty in Georgia is an exposed beach and jetty break that only works occasionally, with winter offering the best chances for surf. It performs best with offshore winds from the west-southwest and a northeast swell, primarily receiving windswells. The break produces both left and right-hand waves and remains uncrowded even when it’s working. Surfers should be aware of rips, rocks, locals, and sharks. The best surf occurs when a northeast swell combines with west-southwest winds, with the most consistent clean waves typically found in spring, especially in March.
