Serans in Galicia is an exposed beach and reef break with pretty consistent surf that can work at any time of the year. This versatile spot offers both left and right-hand waves on the beach as well as on the offshore reefs, and remains surfable at all stages of the tide; however, surfers should watch out for rocks. The best conditions reported for surf at Serans occur when a North-northwest swell combines with an offshore wind direction from the South-southwest, and the best time of year for surfing with consistent clean waves (rideable swell with light / offshore winds) is the month of December.
