Playa de Traba in Galicia is an exposed beach break that usually has waves and can work at any time of the year. This wild and beautiful spot offers both left and right-hand waves, receiving an equal mix of windswells and groundswells; notably, the quality of the surf remains consistent throughout all stages of the tide, though the beach can get crowded when conditions are firing. The best conditions reported for surf at Playa de Traba occur when a Northwest swell combines with an offshore wind direction from the Southeast, and the best time of year for surfing with consistent clean waves (rideable swell with light / offshore winds) is during the month of February.
