Playa de Seaia in Galicia is a fairly exposed beach break with pretty consistent surf, though it is often flat during the summer months. This spot provides both left and right-hand waves from a mix of groundswells and windswells, and thanks to its orientation, it offers some shelter from southwest winds; however, it can get crowded when the conditions are firing. The best conditions reported for surf at Playa de Seaia occur when a Northwest swell combines with an offshore wind direction from the Southwest, and the best time of year for surfing with consistent clean waves (rideable swell with light / offshore winds) is the month of January.
