Poor conditions right now. Tiny waves under 1ft with quality 11s ground swell but strong 15kt winds making it choppy Note: winds from S would be better. Might want to wait for better conditions.

📍 Local Knowledge

Playa de Razo in Galicia is an exposed beach break with consistent surf throughout the year, though summer is often cited as offering the most beginner-friendly conditions. This expansive, 5-kilometer beach provides both left and right-hand waves and is highly receptive to Atlantic swells; uniquely, it remains surfable at all stages of the tide and rarely gets overcrowded despite its popularity. The best conditions reported for surf at Playa de Razo occur when a Northwest swell combines with an offshore wind direction from the South, and the best time of year for surfing with consistent clean waves (rideable swell with light / offshore winds) is the month of December.
