📍 Local Knowledge

Vero Beach Pier in North Florida is an exposed beach and pier break known for its reliable surf, with waves coming from both groundswells and windswells. It works best when northeast swells meet offshore winds from the west-southwest, especially around mid tide. The waves here offer both left and right rides. While summer can be flat, July is typically the best month for clean, rideable conditions. It can get crowded on good days, and hazards include rips and sharks.
