📍 Local Knowledge

St. Andrews State Park in Florida is an exposed beach and jetty break with consistent surf, most active during hurricane season. Windswells are the primary swell source, with optimal surf occurring when a southwest swell meets offshore winds from the northeast. The break offers both left and right-hand waves and is surfable across all tides. It can get crowded when it's working, and surfers should be cautious of rip currents and sharks. The most consistent clean waves occur in winter, with February being the prime month.
