πŸ“ Local Knowledge

Sebastian Inlet–Third Peak in North Florida is an exposed beach and jetty break known for its consistent surf, although it tends to go flat during the summer months. It works best with offshore winds from the southwest and responds well to both windswells and groundswells, with an ideal swell direction from the northeast. The break favors left-hand waves and performs best around low tide as it begins to rise. While it’s a reliable spot, it often draws crowds when conditions line up. Surfers should be cautious of rocks, obstacles, localism, and sharks. The best time for clean, rideable waves is typically in the summer, especially during July.
