Poor conditions right now. Sweet 2.2ft waves with quality 10s ground swell but strong 15kt winds making it choppy Note: winds from W would be better. Might want to wait for better conditions.

πŸ“ Local Knowledge

Satellite Beach/RCs in North Florida is an exposed beach and reef break with very consistent surf, though summer tends to bring extended flat spells. It responds well to both windswells and groundswells, with northeast being the ideal swell direction and offshore winds from the west cleaning things up. The left-breaking reef works best around mid tide. While it’s not always packed, it can draw a crowd when the surf is good. Hazards include strong rips. Winter is the most dependable season, with January offering the best conditions.
