πŸ“ Local Knowledge

Playa Linda in North Florida is an exposed beach break with generally reliable surf, though summer tends to bring extended flat spells. It performs best on north-northeast swells paired with offshore winds from the southwest. The wave setup produces both lefts and rights and holds up across all tide stages. Despite its quality, it's rarely crowdedβ€”even when it’s working. Hazards here range from the usual sharks to the more unusual, including alligators and the occasional spaceship sighting thanks to its proximity to Cape Canaveral. Spring, especially March, offers the best shot at clean, consistent waves.
