πŸ“ Local Knowledge

Pensacola Beach in Florida is an exposed beach break with fairly consistent surf, especially during winter. The best conditions occur when a south-southeast swell meets offshore winds from the north-northwest. While local windswells are most common, occasional groundswells also reach the coast. The beach break offers both left and right-handers and performs well across all tide stages. It’s typically uncrowded, even when the surf is good. Hazards to watch out for include rips and sharks. The most consistent clean waves are generally found in winter, with April often being the best month.
