Ocean Reef Park in South Florida is a reasonably exposed beach and reef break with quite reliable surf, although summer tends to be mostly flat. The best conditions occur during winter, when offshore winds from the west combine with northeast windswells and groundswells to produce ideal waves. The break offers both right and better left hand reef waves. It can sometimes get crowded, and surfers should be cautious of rocks. The most consistent clean surf is typically found in winter, with February being the prime month.
