πŸ“ Local Knowledge

Minuteman (Minutemen Causeway) offers a sandy beach-break just east of downtown Cocoa Beach, adjacent to local beach access points near the Minutemen Causeway. Winter through early spring (December–April) tends to bring the most consistent surf, while occasional summer and early fall swells from tropical activity can add size and power. Northeast to east swells work best here, and light afternoon offshore winds from the west help clean up the waves. Mid to high tides typically offer the most well-formed rides. Waves are generally mellow peeling lefts and rights, ideal for beginners and longboarders, though intermediate surfers will find enough action too.
