Poor conditions right now. Small 1.6ft waves with mixed swell but strong 19kt winds making it choppy Note: winds from W would be better. Might want to wait for better conditions.

📍 Local Knowledge

Main Beach in North Florida is an exposed beach break with pretty consistent surf that can work year-round. It performs best with offshore winds from the west and a swell direction from the northeast, receiving an equal mix of windswells and groundswells. The break favors left-hand waves and is best surfed around high tide when the tide is rising. The spot is often crowded. Hazards to watch for include sharks and jellyfish. Optimal conditions occur when a northeast swell combines with west winds, with the most consistent clean waves typically found in winter, especially in January.
