📍 Local Knowledge

Jupiter Inlet South Jetty in South Florida is a reasonably exposed beach and jetty break with fairly consistent surf, although summer tends to be mostly flat. The best conditions occur during winter, when offshore winds from the west combine with northeast swells to create ideal waves. The break offers both lefts and rights and works best around low tide. It is a popular spot that can get crowded. Surfers should be cautious of rocks, private areas, locals, and sharks. The most consistent clean surf is typically found in winter, with January being the prime month.
