📍 Local Knowledge

Jupiter Inlet North Jetty in South Florida is a sheltered beach and jetty break with generally unreliable waves. The best conditions occur during summer, although summer tends to offer the optimum surf. Offshore winds from the west paired with southeast windswells create the ideal waves, which favor right-hand breaks. The spot is usually uncrowded, even on good days. Surfers should watch out for rips, rocks, and sharks. The most consistent clean surf is typically found in winter, with January being the prime month.
