📍 Local Knowledge

Juno Pier in South Florida is a fairly exposed beach and pier break with fairly consistent surf, although summer tends to be mostly flat. The best conditions occur during winter, when offshore winds from the west combine with northeast groundswells to create ideal waves. The break offers both left and right handers and works well at all stages of the tide. When the surf is up, crowds are likely. Surfers should watch out for rocks, private areas, locals, and sharks. The most consistent clean surf is typically found in winter, with January being the prime month.
