πŸ“ Local Knowledge

Jetty Park in North Florida is a reasonably exposed beach and jetty break that only comes to life when conditions align just right. It performs best on south-southeast swells with offshore winds from the west, and while local windswells are more common, groundswells do show up on occasion. The break offers both lefts and rights and can handle all stages of the tide. When it’s firing, expect a crowd. Hazards include sharks, the occasional alligator, and yesβ€”spaceships overhead thanks to its proximity to Cape Canaveral. Winter, particularly January, is the most reliable time for clean, surfable waves.
