Jensen Beach in South Florida is an exposed beach and reef break offering fairly reliable surf, though summer usually sees smaller swells. The spot lights up when northeast swells meet offshore winds from the west, and it’s best surfed on a rising low tide. Both the beach and reef breaks here produce a mix of lefts and rights, providing variety for different styles. Crowds are common when conditions are good, and surfers should stay alert for sharks. The most consistent clean waves are typically found in winter, especially in September.
