📍 Local Knowledge

Fort Walton Beach in Florida is an exposed beach and jetty break with consistent surf, especially during winter. The best conditions occur when offshore winds from the north-northeast align with south-southwest swells. Waves break both left and right, and the spot offers good surf at all tide stages. It's usually not too crowded, even when the surf is up. Rips and sharks are the primary hazards. The most consistent clean waves are typically found in winter, with February being the prime month.
