📍 Local Knowledge
Fort Pierce North Jetty in North Florida is an exposed beach, reef, and jetty break that delivers fairly reliable surf, although summer conditions are usually flat. The break works best with offshore winds from the west and handles both local windswells and distant groundswells. A northeast swell is ideal, producing mostly right-hand waves that can be ridden at all stages of the tide. While it can get crowded when the surf is good, it remains a favored spot for its consistency. Keep an eye out for sharks and potential localism. The most consistent clean waves are typically found during winter, especially in January.
