Poor conditions right now. Sweet 3.4ft waves with quality 9s ground swell but strong 18kt winds making it choppy Note: winds from WNW would be better. Might want to wait for better conditions.

📍 Local Knowledge

Deerfield Beach Pier in South Florida is a sheltered sandbar break with inconsistent surf, performing best during summer but offering its most consistent clean waves in autumn, especially November. It works best with an east swell and offshore winds from the west-northwest, receiving a mix of groundswells and windswells. The break works well at all tide stages but can get crowded. Surfers should be cautious of rips, undertow, man-made hazards like buoys, localism, pollution, and sharks.
