It works best when offshore winds blow from the west and tends to perform around high tide. The waves offer both lefts and rights, making it a versatile spot for different styles. While it’s a dependable location, it often draws a crowd when the conditions are good. Hazards include strong rips, nearby man-made structures, and sharks. Winter delivers the most consistent surf, with December typically offering the cleanest waves.
