Breakers in Palm Beach is a sandbar break that offers consistent surf due to its mile-long stretch and ability to pick up most swells. The optimum time of year for surfing here is during the winter when waves are higher and more consistent. When it's working, conditions are best when a north swell creates left barrels and rare south swells produce excellent rights. This spot is generally user-friendly with multiple peaks, but can get crowded on weekends, holidays, and before or after school and business hours. Hazards include aggressive locals and stickler police/meter maids, making caution essential. The best chance for clean waves is often with a north swell.
