Blue Roofs is a lesser-known beach-break near Mayport, Florida, featuring a sandy bottom shaped by nearby coastal structures. It performs best in winter—especially December through February—when northeast groundswells and frontal systems deliver more consistent swell, and northerly offshore winds help smooth the wave faces. Surf is most rideable around mid to high tide, offering small to moderate waist-high peaks. Lineups remain light thanks to its under-the-radar location, but surfers should take care with shifting sandbars and rip currents in the area.
