It performs best in fall, particularly October, when southern and southeast swells align with offshore morning winds for cleaner, rideable waves. The peak surf tends to appear around mid tide, offering knee- to waist-high peaks suited for casual and beginner surfers. While it rarely sees strong surf, the long stretch of beach helps spread out the lineup, keeping it peaceful. Surfers should remain mindful of shifting sandbars and occasional rip currents.
