📍 Local Knowledge

Fenwick in Delaware is an exposed beach and jetty break that offers reliable surf year-round. It performs best when a south-southeast swell combines with offshore winds from the west, producing both left and right-hand waves. The spot primarily receives groundswells and is most favorable around low tide as it begins to rise. Despite its consistency, Fenwick remains largely uncrowded, making it a great option for a more laid-back session. However, surfers should be cautious, as dangerous rip currents are a known hazard. The best conditions for clean, rideable waves typically occur in the summer, with July being the most consistent month.
