📍 Local Knowledge

Zancudo is a sheltered left-hand point break in Golfo Dulce that offers reasonably consistent surf. The most favorable conditions are a southwest groundswell with offshore winds from the northeast. The break works best around mid-tide. When the surf is on, it can get quite busy, and surfers should be aware of jellyfish and sea-lice. The best time for consistent, clean waves is typically in July.
