πŸ“ Local Knowledge

Quepos/Quepos Jetty is an exposed beach break in Golfo de Nicoya that offers unreliable left and right-hand waves. The most favorable conditions are a south groundswell with offshore winds from the north. The break provides good surf at all stages of the tide. The spot is unlikely to be crowded, even when the surf is on, but surfers should be aware of dangerous rips. The best time for consistent, clean waves is typically in November.
