Little Fiji is a fairly exposed left-hand reef break in Golfo de Nicoya that only works occasionally. The most favorable conditions are a southwest groundswell with offshore winds from the east-northeast. The break works best around mid-tide when the tide is rising. The spot is likely to be crowded if working, and surfers should be aware of rips, rocks, and private access. The best time for consistent, clean waves is typically in July.
