Dominicalito is an exposed beach break in Costa Rica that offers fun, punchy waves when swell is good. It works best with offshore winds from the east and groundswells from the south-southwest. The most favorable conditions occur when a robust south-southwest swell combines with clean offshore east winds. The beach offers both left and right-hand peaks and usually sees moderate crowds when conditions are solid. Surfers should watch out for rips and shifting sandbars.
