📍 Local Knowledge

Cedros is an exposed reef/point break that delivers fast, hollow waves when the swell is strong. It works best with offshore winds from the east and solid groundswells from the south-southwest. The most favorable conditions occur when a long-period southwest swell combines with clean offshore east winds. The break offers both left and right-hand barrels and is more suited to experienced surfers. Surfers should be wary of sharp reef, shallow takeoffs, and strong rips.
