📍 Local Knowledge

Cabo Blanco is an exposed beach break in Golfo Dulce that offers fairly consistent left and right-hand waves and can be surfed year-round. The most favorable conditions are a southwest groundswell with offshore winds from the northeast. The break works best around low tide when the tide is rising. When the surf is on, it can get crowded, and surfers should be aware of rocks, jellyfish, and sea-lice. The best time for consistent, clean waves is typically in May.
