πŸ“ Local Knowledge

Bejuco is an exposed beach and reef break in Golfo de Nicoya that offers very consistent left and right-hand waves. The most favorable conditions are a south-southwest groundswell with offshore winds from the north-northeast. The spot is unlikely to be crowded, even when the surf is on, but surfers should be aware of dangerous rips. The best time for consistent, clean waves is typically in November.
