Playa del Dosel in Andalucia is a reasonably exposed beach and point break with fairly consistent surf, best during winter. The best conditions come with an east swell and offshore winds from the west-southwest. The short fetch favors windswells over groundswells, and waves break both left and right. Surfing is best around low tide. It’s rarely crowded, but surfers should be cautious of dangerous rips. The best month to surf Playa del Dosel is January.
