📍 Local Knowledge

Sidi Abed in Central Morocco (El Jadida Province) is a fairly exposed right point break with a mix of groundswells and windswells. It works best with a north, northwest, west, or southwest swell and offshore winds from the southeast. The spot can offer heavy, powerful sections breaking over a variable sandbar and reef setup, with the most consistent clean waves typically occurring in winter from October through April. Crowds are uncommon, even when the surf is up, providing a quiet and uncrowded lineup along a scenic stretch of sandy beach and dunes south of El Jadida.
