📍 Local Knowledge

Playa de Tagle in Cantabria is an exposed beach break that offers pretty consistent surf and can work at any time of the year. This spot provides both left and right-hand waves from a mix of groundswells and windswells; while it is best surfed around low tide and is generally unlikely to be crowded, visitors should be aware that on the rare occasions it does get busy, overcrowding can make surfing hazardous. The best conditions occur when a Northwest swell combines with Southeast offshore winds, with October being the prime month for consistent, clean waves.
