Thalia Street in North Orange County is a small, semi-sheltered beach break with a sand and rock bottom, offering mellow, peeling waves ideal for longboarding—best conditions typically arrive in summer and early fall. Light offshore winds from the northeast groom south and southwest swells, producing soft lefts and rights that roll gently to shore, especially during mid to high tide. The wave is friendly and accessible, attracting a mix of beginners and longboarders, with manageable crowds. While generally safe, surfers should still watch for exposed rocks, stingrays, and occasional rip currents. The most consistent clean waves occur in summer, especially July through September.
