📍 Local Knowledge

Salt Creek Beach Park in Orange County is an exposed beach and reef break that offers fairly consistent surf throughout the year. It works best with offshore winds from the east-northeast and distant groundswells from the south-southwest. The break features both left and right reef options and is ideal around mid tide. Summer, particularly July, provides the most consistent clean conditions with light or offshore winds. The spot can get crowded at times, and surfers should be cautious of rocks in the area.
