Rockview in Santa Cruz is a semi-exposed reef break that offers consistent surf during the fall and winter months, with peak conditions typically from November to February. It works best with west to northwest swells and light offshore winds from the northeast. The break is most reliable during mid to high tide, producing fast, rippable waves suited for intermediate to advanced surfers. While smaller and more localized than nearby spots, Rockview can get crowded, and surfers should be mindful of both tight takeoff zones and established locals.
