πŸ“ Local Knowledge

Pleasure Point–Second Peak in Santa Cruz is a reasonably exposed right-hand reef break that works infrequently without a clear seasonal pattern. It performs best when a south-southwest swell aligns with offshore winds from the northwest, typically during summer, most often in September. The break favors groundswells and is best surfed around low tide. It is often crowded, and surfers should remain vigilant for sharks, rocks, and rip currents.
